ROLE 02 · OpenRemote, U.S.-based — periodic travel to Raleigh, NC required

Finance/Ops Lead

Keep the financial backbone of a multi-kitchen, multi-brand network accurate, auditable and investor-ready.

Why this role matters

Every host kitchen in the OFB network is paid weekly on a revenue-share agreement. Partners trust OFB with their idle hours because the money arrives on time and the numbers make sense. That trust is a financial operation, and it has to be right every single week.

At the same time, OFB is raising capital and launching new brands. The same records that pay kitchens also have to tell investors and the board exactly how each brand, kitchen and market is performing.

What you'll own

  • 01Own the end-to-end payout process to host kitchens: weekly ACH runs reconciled against each Host Kitchen Revenue-Share & Operating Agreement.
  • 02Maintain clean, auditable financial records across every active kitchen and brand.
  • 03Prepare investor- and board-ready financial reporting.
  • 04Build and maintain unit-economics models as new brands and kitchens launch.
  • 05Work directly with the founder on financial materials for fundraising.

What we're looking for

  • 01A background in finance or accounting operations, ideally with exposure to multi-location or franchise-style businesses.
  • 02Fluency with financial modeling and reconciliation at a detailed, line-item level.
  • 03Comfort operating with real autonomy at a very early stage. You'll build this function from scratch, not maintain an existing one.
  • 04Current right to work in the United States.
